ZoneStop® approved for use up to 80 km/h on Swedish roads
It is now official – the Swedish Transport Administration has approved ProGuard® ZoneStop® for use on all roads with speeds up to 80 km/h, following its formal approval decision. This means our innovative crash cushion can now be widely used on Swedish roads, both in urban areas and on rural highways.
ZoneStop® has been tested in accordance with VVMB 351 2000/70 at Transpolis in France, demonstrating a stopping distance of only 19.2 metres at 70 km/h – significantly shorter than traditional solutions. At 50 km/h the stopping distance is just 10.6 metres.
Thanks to its stackable design, integrated sign mast, lifting yoke and replaceable parts, ZoneStop® is also easy to handle, transport and maintain.
