We have been entrusted with the custom design of a shell protection solution for the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, based on the ProGuard series. It is a combination of several parts – CB, NRP and a specially developed version of Top-Up – which together create an effective and high level of shell protection.
– “Our workplace enclosures aim, among other things, to keep unauthorized persons away from workplaces, prevent transparency and minimize theft in an effective way,” says Lars Boogh, COO. “When we were asked to create a shell protection for correctional facilities, it felt natural to use our products.

The combination of ProGuard® CB concrete barrier, NRP panels and a specially designed steel mesh with anti-climbing protection at the top results in a hard-to-force, 3.2 meter high shell protection. The benefits are obvious – apart from the rigid construction, which requires large forces to be applied, the solution is relatively easy to establish. Because it is based on modified standard components, it is also very cost-effective and scalable.
– Our client is very satisfied with the solution. It is only natural that the inmates may have a different opinion,” concludes Lars Boogh.
