ProGuard® City Barrier and ProGuard® CB806 are now approved by the Danish Road Directorate (Vejdirektoratet) for use on the Danish state road network. The approval applies from 31 March 2026, ahead of the systems being formally listed on the Trafikværnslisten at its next update.
This marks an important step for Safe At Site – but above all for contractors and traffic management providers operating in increasingly complex traffic environments, where safety, accessibility and space efficiency must work together.
As more roadworks move into urban areas, the demands placed on traffic management systems are changing. Space is becoming more limited, traffic flows more complex, and the need to protect both motorists and vulnerable road users is increasing. At the same time, installation and relocation must be carried out quickly in order to minimise disruption and maintain efficient workflows. ProGuard has been developed specifically for that reality.

Developed for real-world working environments
Together, ProGuard® City and ProGuard® CB806 cover a wide range of traffic environments – from narrow inner-city streets to higher-speed roads with heavier traffic.
ProGuard® City is verified for T1 with an installation length of only 18.4 metres and offers a low working width. This is crucial in urban environments where every metre affects the flow of pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles. ProGuard® CB806, meanwhile, covers multiple containment classes within the same system and achieves T1 to T3 performance with only 29 metres of installation length.
Both systems are mounted on rubber feet and require no ground anchoring, enabling rapid installation and easy repositioning throughout the project lifecycle. The systems are also compatible with GC pedestrian and cycle barriers as well as NRC screening systems, making it possible to combine vehicle protection, pedestrian and cyclist safety, and site enclosure within one integrated solution.
For us, product development is not only about passing tests and meeting standards. It is about creating solutions that perform better in real-life conditions – for the people working on site and for those passing through the work zone every day.
