Guardian – digital monitoring and supervision for road construction sites

Guardian™ is live – real-time digital monitoring

Our new digital monitoring system, Guardian™, is now fully operational at a major project in the Mälardalen region. Guardian™ enables continuous digital monitoring of traffic management devices and battery-powered equipment, replacing traditional inspection rounds. This results in increased safety and efficiency. Guardian is available in two versions and complements physical traffic control setups with digital oversight.

Instant alerts on impact or disturbance
With Guardian™ Impact, responsible personnel receive an immediate notification in the mobile app if a traffic device is struck or knocked over by wind. Instead of discovering a damaged or displaced unit during the next inspection round, action can be taken immediately.
This reduces exposure to risk, shortens response times, and contributes to a safer work environment—around the clock.

Full control of battery-powered equipment
With Guardian™ Power, you get continuous insight into the status of battery-powered equipment—such as crash cushions, sequential warning lights, and temporary signals. You can monitor voltage, charge levels, and operational status in real time, enabling proactive maintenance planning. The result is fewer unplanned outages, reduced unnecessary transport, and easier documentation for clients.

From routine to need
When monitoring is driven by actual events and real needs instead of scheduled inspection rounds, the way of working changes. Resources are used where they create the most value—while safety levels increase.

For us, Guardian™ is a clear example of how digital add-ons strengthen the overall roadwork environment—fully aligned with our mission to develop smart products, solutions, and services that make construction and roadwork sites safer every day.

We are already seeing how ways of working are changing in the project—and this is just the beginning.
